WAVE-PLAYER
The MSSIAH Wave-Player is a sample player with full MIDI control.
Not only does this make it quite unique for the C64 platform, it has also got features that makes it a useful sample player that very well might be your
best lo-fi drum machine companion!
MSSIAH Wave-Player plays back 4-bit samples at 6Khz on three virtual channels. Each channel's output can be configured to either SID #1 or
SID #2 (with a
SID2SID).
The memory holds up to 5,5 seconds of samples.
Played via MIDI the Wave-Player's sounds can be individually level adjusted or respond to velocity.
The user interface makes assigning sounds to keys on the MIDI keymap a simple and fast process.
Loading samples into the C64 has never been easier.
Wave-Player accepts MIDI sample dumps so that you can sample and edit your sounds in a PC/Mac audio application and then transfer them via MIDI.
Wave-Player also accepts raw Windows Wave-files. The only thing you need to do is to import the wav-file into a 1541 floppy.
As an extra bonus, the MSSIAH cartridge is loaded with 130 preset demo samples. With just a few key presses you instantly load any preset sample you want into the Wave-Player.
